Traditional mortise and tenon joinery has been at the heart of our timber frame building design for as long as we’ve been creating these structures. It is the essential part of shaping a building. Timbers are cut to specifications and carefully and creatively joined with this time-tested technology passed down from our ancestors.
The three methods of joinery that we use are Mortise and Tenon joints, Lap joints and Dove Tails which make the strongest bonds in the engineered design you’ve chosen. Our crews select the timbers, cut the joinery and construct the timber frames in preparation for the final raising of the structurally insulated panels for the walls and roof.
